Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski discussed support for Ukraine and the protection of energy infrastructure during his meeting in New York with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store.

Stating that Finland and Norway are very strong partners for Ukraine, Zelenski said, “First of all, we discussed the winter package and the protection of our energy infrastructure against Russian attacks.”

Zelenski said they are working to strengthen air defense as much as possible before winter sets in and to ensure that Russia's strategy of ballistic terror yields no results. He also said that he briefed Stubb and Store on the talks and meetings held with the American delegation.

Zelenski said pressure on Russia should be increased through sanctions and support for Ukraine, adding, “There is no alternative to peace.”

Zelenski also said that he and Stubb signed a UAV Agreement, stating that the agreement is an important step toward the joint protection of their peoples and strengthening the partnership between the two countries. Zelenski said they are ready to share capabilities that help protect lives with their closest friends.
