Zelensky Meets with German Defense Minister Pistorius
Kyiv, June 12 (Hibya) – German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius made his fifth visit to Ukraine. During the visit, he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The meeting addressed cooperation in the defense industry. An agreement was reached on additional investments in the defense sector in both Germany and Ukraine. These investments reportedly include long-range systems.
Zelensky stated that the localization of air defense systems production in Ukraine and diplomatic cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.
Emphasizing Germany’s support for Ukraine, Zelensky said that the aid provided this year has reached 7 billion euros and may increase further.
