Zelensky: New interceptor drone successfully deployed
Kyiv, September 19 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on a report he received from Security Service chief Oleksandr Poklad, said that a new interceptor drone developed for use against jet-powered Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles had been successfully deployed in the field.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the work carried out by the military counterintelligence unit of the Security Service of Ukraine against jet-powered Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles.
Zelensky said he had received a report on the matter from Security Service chief Oleksandr Poklad, adding, "There is a good result from the Security Service's military counterintelligence in defense against jet-powered Shaheds. A new interceptor drone has been developed and has begun to be used successfully."
Noting that efforts to protect Ukraine are progressing step by step, Zelensky said, "We are moving forward step by step to provide greater protection for Ukraine."
Zelensky thanked the developers and manufacturers who work every day to increase production of the weapons that are needed.
