President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, discussed the process of updating energy sector and regional resilience plans in a working meeting with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.

During the meeting, the timeline of the new energy strategy, prepared based on the experiences gained in the winter months, and the main changes to be implemented were decided.

Zelensky also shared the government's preparations on social policies and announced that the annual pension indexing will be implemented starting from March 1.

Zelensky said, "Pensions and insurance payments will be indexed by 12.1%. This increase will benefit approximately ten million Ukrainians."

Emphasizing that the government is fulfilling its social responsibilities despite the difficult conditions of the war, Zelensky added, "Even under conditions of full-scale war, our state is ensuring the indexing of pensions and all necessary social payments."
