Zelensky: Russia may be preparing a large-scale attack, air defense is our priority
Kyiv, May 29 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said intelligence indicates that Russia may be preparing a new large-scale attack and urged citizens to pay close attention to air raid warnings. Zelensky emphasized that strengthening air defense capabilities remains a critical priority.
Zelensky stated that intelligence findings suggest Russia may be preparing a new large-scale offensive. Addressing the Ukrainian people, he urged them to pay attention to air raid alert systems and strictly follow security measures.
Zelensky noted that strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities is one of the highest priorities and stressed that support aimed at protecting Ukraine’s skies is of vital importance.
He also referred to international support mechanisms, highlighting efforts to secure defense equipment such as Patriot systems. Zelensky said procurement processes are continuing through financing provided by European and other partners and added that ensuring sufficient supplies depends on international cooperation, particularly with the United States.
