Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia has established a dense air defense network around Moscow.

Zelensky said, “The Russians have concentrated three rings of air defense around Moscow.” He claimed that in order to establish these defense systems, Russia pulled air defense systems from different regions of the country and moved them around Moscow and, to a lesser extent, St. Petersburg.

Assessing Russia’s air defense capacity, Zelensky said, “No matter how much air defense you have, your ammunition eventually runs out, and we will continue to find technologies that will make them feel it.”

Zelensky said that following Russian attacks on Ukraine’s logistics infrastructure, Ukraine carried out a new logistics operation, adding, “Their losses are very large — 1 trillion rubles.”

Zelensky said the operation was carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces, Defense Intelligence, the Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service, adding, “Today we are acting jointly while carrying out the relevant long- and medium-range strikes.”
