Zelensky: Ukraine’s long-range capabilities reach Moscow region
Kyiv, 16 June (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that an oil refinery located 500 kilometres away in the Moscow region was targeted and that long-range strike capabilities were used.
Ukrainian President Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s long-range capabilities now enable strikes within the Moscow region.
He reported that an oil refinery located 500 kilometres away was hit and thanked the Security Service of Ukraine, Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, Defence Intelligence, and Missile Forces personnel.
Zelensky said Russia’s war against the Ukrainian people must end, stressing that long-range weapons are an important part of this pressure.
He described it as a “fair response” to Russian aggression and the prolongation of the war, adding: “Victory belongs to Ukraine”.
