Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during his meeting with Polish President Karol Nawrocki within the framework of the Bucharest Nine Summit.

Zelensky stated that bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland were discussed during the meeting, saying, “What matters is that we share a common position: these relations should be truly strong and based on good neighborliness.”

Zelensky also noted that future contacts were evaluated, that the parties exchanged information on diplomatic efforts, and emphasized that unity between Europe and the United States is critically important for all efforts.

Thanking Poland for its support during Russia’s attacks, Zelensky said, “We are grateful to Poland and the Polish people for all their support throughout Russia’s full-scale aggression.”
