Al Khulaifi discusses regional security with China’s Middle East envoy Jun
Doha, March 15 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi discussed military tensions, regional stability and peaceful solutions with China’s Special Envoy for the Middle East Zhai Jun.
Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Al Khulaifi held a phone call on March 15, 2026 with China’s Special Envoy for the Middle East Zhai Jun.
During the call, developments related to military tensions in the region and their serious effects on regional and international security and stability were discussed. The parties also addressed resolving all disputes through peaceful means.
Dr. Al Khulaifi condemned the Iranian attacks on Qatari territory, stressing that such attacks cannot be justified under any circumstances. He stated that Qatar remains committed to staying away from regional conflicts and aims to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the international community.
China’s Special Envoy Jun expressed solidarity with Qatar and emphasized the importance of reducing tensions in the region and finding peaceful solutions.
