Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Al-Thani met with Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Egyptian Expatriates Abdelatty in Doha on March 15, 2026.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the rising military tensions in the region and their serious effects on regional and international security and stability. They also addressed resolving existing disputes through peaceful means and strengthening coordination among Arab countries to confront current challenges.

Prime Minister Al-Thani reiterated Qatar’s condemnation of Iran’s attacks on Qatari territory, stressing that such attacks cannot be justified under any circumstances. He said Qatar has always sought to stay away from regional conflicts and aims to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the international community.

Al-Thani also stated that targeting vital infrastructure, especially facilities related to water, food and energy, is irresponsible behavior and could set a dangerous precedent that may expose the region’s populations to serious risks. He emphasized the need to immediately halt all escalatory actions, return to the negotiating table and prioritize reason.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdelatty also called for de-escalation, a return to negotiations and the use of diplomatic methods to prevent further chaos.
