Albanese: Historic Environmental Protection Committees Passed by Parliament
Canberra, 28 November (Hibya) – Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that historic new environmental protection laws aimed at speeding up approval processes for housing and renewable energy projects have passed through Parliament.
Albanese emphasized that the legislative changes will both protect the environment and enable faster implementation of housing and renewable energy projects, calling it an important step toward the country’s sustainable future.
The Prime Minister added that these laws will serve Australia’s environmental and economic goals.
