Asian stock markets rise, led by Nikkei
Istanbul, September 18 (Hibya) - In Asian stock markets, Japan's Nikkei index rose 1.64 percent, while the Shanghai Composite gained 1.04 percent, the Hang Seng 0.67 percent and the Nifty 50 0.22 percent.
Asian markets generally traded on a positive note.
Japan's Nikkei index gained 1.64 percent to reach 65,188.12 points. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng index rose 0.67 percent to 24,768.84 points.
In China, the Shanghai Composite climbed 1.04 percent to 3,916.075 points, while India's Nifty 50 rose 0.22 percent to 23,322.05 points.
In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell 0.05 percent to 8,727.70 points.
