OTTAWA, July 16 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that the Canadian Army's next-generation armored vehicle fleet will be manufactured in London, Ontario.

Carney said the vehicles will be produced by GDLS-Canada, adding that more than 6,000 employees from over 600 Canadian suppliers will take part in the design, manufacturing and maintenance phases of the project.
The new armored vehicle fleet is expected to strengthen Canada's defense industry capacity and contribute to domestic manufacturing.
