MOSCOW, July 16 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Guinea-Bissau's Foreign Minister Fatumata Jau in Moscow.

Speaking during the meeting, Lavrov said that relations between Russia and Guinea-Bissau are based on a long-standing tradition of friendship dating back to the people of Guinea-Bissau's struggle for independence.
Lavrov stated that the friendly relations between the two countries continue to develop on the basis of their historical ties.
