Minister Crosetto stated that he met with his Belgian counterpart.

He noted that cooperation topics in the defense sector, especially at the industrial level, were addressed in a sincere and friendly atmosphere.

Crosetto said, “We discussed Europe’s future, the threats it faces, concerns in the north, east and south, the future of NATO, and the need to work together in all areas related to the security and defense of our citizens.”

He added, “We also discussed Belgium’s cooperation in Italy regarding F-35 production and pilot training, as well as ways to strengthen EU defense and address geopolitical challenges in Europe and Africa together.”
