Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar held a meeting today with the Azerbaijani President’s Special Envoy for Special Assignments, Halafov.

During the meeting, Halafov briefed on the initiatives being carried out under Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), as well as those planned for implementation in the coming period.

Dar once again emphasized Pakistan’s full support for Azerbaijan’s leadership role in CICA and its efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and mutual understanding.

The parties also discussed opportunities to further enhance bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
