According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UK High Commissioner Marriott met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Dar.

The meeting covered Pakistan-UK relations, the understandings reached during Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar's visit to the United Kingdom in August, and ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Dar emphasized the importance of maintaining sustained high-level contacts, while regional and international developments of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
