Dutch Prime Minister Schoof calls on citizens to vote
Amsterdam, October 29 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof urged citizens to cast their votes on election day.
Prime Minister Schoof stated that he voted at the Theater De Vaillant in the Schilderswijk district of The Hague, noting that the polling station there is entirely run by local youth. This initiative is part of the “Own Your Stembureau” project, which aims to engage young people more actively in politics and the voting process.
After casting his vote, Schoof said he met with local residents in the theater lobby and discussed the elections, love for the neighborhood, and the importance of the theater to the community. He emphasized that the greatest value of democracy is the right to vote, encouraged all citizens to participate, and thanked the thousands of volunteers working at polling stations.
