Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to sources, if Ukraine does not announce elections, the United States threatens to withdraw the promised security guarantees. This information comes after pressure has increased to end the war by the summer.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said last week, “They want everything completed by June.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to announce his plans for a peace referendum on February 24, the fourth anniversary of the war.

According to the Financial Times, the presidential election, which could lead to Zelensky's removal from office, could be held alongside a simultaneous referendum on ending the war as early as May 15.

Any referendum or vote would contradict Zelensky's previous insistence that elections cannot be held while the country is at war.

If the plans move forward, Ukrainians may be asked to vote on the devolution of some territories to Russia.

However, according to Ukrainian sources, the vote will only be approved if clear security guarantees are provided.

Organizing elections in Kyiv will also face significant challenges as millions of Ukrainians are displaced, and hundreds of thousands are fighting on the frontlines.

The country is currently under martial law, which effectively bans elections or referendums from taking place.
