Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said China's policy of promoting common security aligns with Iran's principles, emphasizing the importance of a homegrown and independent security architecture for lasting peace in the Middle East.

Highlighting the alignment of principles with China, Ghalibaf said, “China's emphasis on promoting common security reflects a principle that Iran has long advocated.”

Stating that the countries of the region should determine their own future, Ghalibaf concluded his remarks by saying, “The countries of the region must take their future into their own hands, and real stability can only be achieved through a new homegrown security architecture. Iran is ready for this.”
