Gold and silver prices hit record highs
Istanbul, January 19 (Hibya) – In Asian market trading, gold and silver futures prices rose to historic peak levels.
According to CCTV, gold and silver futures prices climbed to new record levels during Asian trading hours on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, the price of the most actively traded gold futures contract at one point rose to $4,698 per ounce, marking a historical high. During the same period, the price of the most active silver futures contract exceeded $94 per ounce.
As of 10:30 a.m. Beijing time, the gold futures contract was trading at $4,667.6 per ounce, gaining 1.57% on the day, while the silver futures contract rose to $93.245 per ounce, up 5.32%.
