Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi meets Chinese President Xi Jinping
Beijing, July 15 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, where he is attending the 25th session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers.
Prior to the main session, Araghchi and Xi held a brief bilateral meeting and exchanged views. Later, Xi held a group meeting with the foreign ministers of SCO member states.
The visit is significant for strengthening diplomatic ties between Iran and China and for advancing multilateral cooperation within the SCO framework.
