Israel and India strengthen their strategic partnership
Jerusalem, 23 November (Hibya) – Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in Jerusalem, following their meeting with India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, that the economic and strategic cooperation between the two countries will be expanded.
President Herzog met with Minister Goyal in Jerusalem. After the meeting, he stated that cooperation between the two countries is rapidly strengthening, adding: “The sky is the limit of our cooperation. Our two nations are connected by shared values, vibrant democracies, and a bold spirit of innovation.” He said that the bond between Israel and India is built on “mutual respect, opportunity, and a vision for a brighter future.”
Prime Minister Netanyahu, who also met Minister Goyal earlier in the day, highlighted the economic dimension of the relationship: “Israel and India are strengthening our strategic partnership; we are building more investment, more innovation, and a strong economic corridor stretching from India to Israel and from there to Europe. Together, we are building economic power.”
