Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on its social media account that Hamas had described the British Labour government's measures toward Israel as "important steps in the right direction" and called for further steps.
The ministry argued that a "terrorist organization" supporting the UK's foreign policy indicates that something is fundamentally wrong.
Criticizing the UK's policy, the ministry said adopting an anti-Israel stance does not deter jihadist groups but instead emboldens them.
