Israel announced that Israel, Greece, Cyprus, and the United States have launched the Eastern Mediterranean Energy Center today.

The statement said: "The Eastern Mediterranean Energy Center is a new platform for cooperation in energy, technology, innovation, and research. This initiative will strengthen cooperation in energy security, cybersecurity, innovation, and critical infrastructure while bringing together governments, universities, researchers, and industry leaders. It is a major step toward strengthening regional cooperation and making the Eastern Mediterranean safer and more connected."
