Jordan's King Abdullah II received Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Amman.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al Thani conveyed the greetings of Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wishes for the Jordanian King's health and happiness. The Emir of Qatar also wished the Jordanian people prosperity and well-being.

King Abdullah II, in turn, asked Al Thani to convey his greetings to the Emir of Qatar. The Jordanian King extended his wishes for Sheikh Tamim's health and happiness, as well as greater prosperity and development for the Qatari people.

During the meeting, the two sides explored opportunities to strengthen relations between Jordan and Qatar and expand cooperation in various fields. They also exchanged views on matters of mutual concern to both countries.
