Iran's Religious Leader Mojtaba Khamenei announced the appointment of Dr. Mohsen Rezaei as a representative to the Supreme National Security Council.

Providing information about the appointment decision, Khamenei said, “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. My esteemed brother Dr. Mohsen Rezaei, in light of your valuable experience and as one of the leaders of the glorious eight-year Sacred Defense, I appoint you as my representative to the Supreme National Security Council.”

Wishing him success, Khamenei said, “I hope you achieve complete success in carrying out this important duty.”

Khamenei also thanked the person handing over the position, saying, “I would also like to thank my dear brother Dr. Mohammad Baqir Zolqadr for his daily efforts.”

Khamenei added in his statement, “God willing, under the protection of our Almighty Lord, and may Allah hasten his return, you will always be a soldier in the struggle for the glorious nation of Iran.”
