Lahbib: Our emergency center is in contact with Spanish authorities
Brussels, January 19 (Hibya) – European Union Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said they are in contact with authorities to support response efforts following the train accident in Spain.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Lahbib extended her condolences to the victims of the train accident in Spain and their families.
Expressing gratitude to the civil and military response teams that acted very quickly, Lahbib said: “Our emergency center is in contact with the Spanish authorities and is ready to provide EU support if requested.”
