Lula: Public safety is our priority
Brasília, September 11 (Hibya) - Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said that the Federal Police and Federal Highway Police need to be strengthened in order to combat criminal organizations.
In a statement, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said they would fight criminal organizations and tackle crime wherever it exists, from the streets to the highest levels. Lula stated that, within this framework, the Federal Police and Federal Highway Police would be strengthened and that a strong, prepared and capable National Guard would be established. Lula emphasized that the safety of the Brazilian people is a priority.
