Luxon shares crime-fighting data in Takanini
Wellington, October 4 (Hibya) - New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon shared updated data on crime rates in the area during his visit to the Takanini Gurdwara.
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced that he visited the Takanini Gurdwara together with Rima Nakhle.
Luxon said that three years ago crime was widespread in Takanini and that the situation disproportionately affected the local community.
Luxon said vehicle-based attacks known as ram raids had fallen by 85 percent in the area, while the number of people who were victims of violent crime nationwide had also decreased by 37,000.
In his statement, Luxon called for a return to Labour Party-era crime policies to be avoided and urged people to vote for the National Party to continue the fight against crime.
