Macron: We will be uncompromising on guarantees in the EU-Mercosur agreement
Paris, February 27 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron stated that no compromises would be made on guarantees that protect farmers and the French people in the EU-Mercosur agreement.
In his evaluation of the EU-Mercosur agreement, President Macron stated that he would not support an agreement that is lenient on imports but strict on domestic production.
Macron emphasized that there would be no compromise in adhering to the guarantees obtained to protect France’s farmers and citizens.
