Mojtaba Khamenei becomes Iran’s new Supreme Religious Leader
Tehran, March 9 (Hibya) - Iran’s Assembly of Experts has selected Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the country’s new religious leader.
According to a BBC report, the Assembly of Experts carried out the vote to determine the country’s leadership position.
Following the vote, Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was elected as Iran’s new religious leader, replacing his father.
