Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu conducted inspections in southern Lebanon together with Defense Minister Israel Katz, Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and Northern Command head Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo.

In his remarks after the visit, Netanyahu said that the Middle East has changed, adding: “One of the things we see here is that we have fundamentally changed the face of the Middle East.”

Referring to Iran and what he described as the “Axis of Evil” as Israel’s enemies, Netanyahu stated: “They came to destroy us, and now they are fighting only for their own survival.”

He also highlighted the success of the Israeli military, saying: “This is a tremendous achievement for the State of Israel and the Israel Defense Forces. The people of Israel salute you.”
