Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a meeting was held between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and the European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas.

During the meeting, the latest diplomatic developments between the United States and Iran were discussed. It was reported that both sides welcomed the progress achieved through sustained diplomatic engagement and expressed their hope that the process would lead to a lasting agreement.

The statement noted that dialogue and diplomacy were once again emphasized as the only viable means of resolving conflicts and achieving lasting peace.
