Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to a statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed SSGCL’s operational problems, financial impacts and the increase in distribution losses. Measures to prevent illegal connections, renew pipeline infrastructure, improve revenue collection and stabilize gas supplies to lawful consumers were also evaluated.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of ensuring energy security in Balochistan and restoring SSGCL’s operational and financial sustainability. Dar asked the relevant authorities to prepare a targeted and time-bound strategy to reduce gas losses, implement strict oversight, protect public resources and safeguard public services.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi, Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, Minister for the Public Works Unit Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, senior officials from the Interior and Petroleum ministries, the Chief Secretary of Balochistan, and senior officials from the Energy and Foreign Affairs ministries.
