Putin: Ukrainian soldiers should be allowed to surrender
Moscow, October 26 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin called for all necessary measures to be taken to enable Ukrainian soldiers who wish to surrender to do so, in order to prevent unnecessary loss of life in the conflict.
Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded that all necessary measures be implemented to allow Ukrainian soldiers willing to surrender to do so, with the aim of preventing unnecessary casualties in the fighting in Ukraine.
Putin noted that throughout history, the Russian army has shown mercy to defeated enemies and emphasized the need to implement measures ensuring the safe surrender of soldiers.
