Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to Qatar's Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in a session titled "Critical Chokepoints, Supply Chains and De-escalation Diplomacy" at the Global Security Forum 2026 held in Doha.

In his remarks, Al Ansari highlighted the importance of maintaining diplomatic mediation and de-escalation efforts, stating that successful mediation depends on trust in the negotiation process and in the mediators.

Al Ansari stressed that negotiations should be shielded from media pressure that could undermine the chances of reaching an agreement, warning of the consequences of escalating tensions in the region.

Al Ansari also called for stronger regional dialogue and international cooperation to resolve conflicts and ensure stability.
