Russian and Omani foreign ministers hold talks
Moscow, January 16 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi discussed during a phone call the growing tensions around Iran fueled by external interventions.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that a phone call between the foreign ministers of Russia and Oman took place on January 16, during which the externally driven escalation of tensions around Iran was discussed.
The parties noted that these tensions carry the risk of turning into a large-scale regional conflict.
