Saidov: We signed bilateral documents following the talks with Karner
Tashkent, May 7 (Hibya) - Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov announced that following high-level meetings with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, agreements covering various strategic areas between the two countries were signed.
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov made a statement regarding the content of the signed documents and the contribution these agreements will make to the future of bilateral relations.
Sharing details of the signed agreements, Saidov said: “In particular, the Protocol and Additional Protocol ‘On Amendments to the Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation of Income and Capital and the Prevention of Tax Evasion’, the Agreement ‘On Partnership in the Field of Migration and Mobility’, and the Agreement ‘On Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic Passports’ were adopted.”
Stating that the talks strengthened the atmosphere of trust between the two countries, Minister Saidov said: “We believe today’s discussions will further expand practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria, strengthen mutual trust, and encourage new joint initiatives.”
