Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, in his statement, emphasized Spain’s commitment to its international obligations and said that his country fulfills its responsibilities both to its own citizens and to the world.
Sanchez drew attention to his country’s stance with the words, “Spain keeps its word, always does,” adding that he is proud of this approach.
In his statement, Sanchez also thanked World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, citing Tedros’ leadership and contribution to international cooperation as exemplary.
