Sanchez: UNHCR is Spain’s priority humanitarian partner
Madrid, December 1 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Filippo Grandi.
Prime Minister Sanchez thanked Filippo Grandi for UNHCR’s exemplary work over the past decade.
He emphasized that UNHCR is a priority humanitarian partner for Spain and reaffirmed his country’s determination to strengthen cooperation with the agency, combat xenophobic rhetoric, and support refugee communities.
