Sandu: EU enlargement is an investment in Europe’s security
Chisinau, January 26 (Hibya) – Moldovan President Maia Sandu stated that European Union (EU) enlargement is not merely an act of generosity, but a strategic investment in the continent’s security.
Moldovan President Maia Sandu made a statement on the EU enlargement process and the importance of regional stability.
Emphasizing the strategic importance of enlargement, Sandu said: “We all share a common belief: EU enlargement is not an act of generosity, but an investment in Europe’s security. The enlargement of the European Union means expanding the space of peace, stability, and shared rules.”
Referring to cooperation with Poland and the support provided, Sandu added: “We are grateful for Poland’s support on our EU path, Mr. President Karol Nawrocki.”
