Schoof meets with Modi
Johannesburg, 23 November (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof stated that during his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G20, both sides exchanged messages on increasing mutual investments and strengthening technological cooperation.
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof held a brief meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in South Africa as part of the G20 discussions. Schoof noted that the two countries work closely in the fields of trade, security, and innovation, adding: “The Netherlands is India’s fourth largest investor worldwide.”
The meeting addressed the expansion of the strategic partnership between the two countries. Schoof said: “We discussed opportunities to increase mutual investments through the Strategic Partnership, as well as my participation in next year’s India-AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.”
Prime Minister Schoof emphasized that cooperation between the Netherlands and India will continue in the long term, stating: “In a rapidly changing world, it is extremely important that we continue to trust one another.”
