Searches conducted at the office of Zelensky’s closest aide, Yermak
Stockholm, 28 November (Hibya) – The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) are conducting a search on the morning of 28 November at the office of Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, located in the government district.
Ukrainska Pravda reporters stated that around 10 employees from NABU and SAPO had entered the government area.
Earlier, on 25 November, NABU Director Semen Kryvonos said he believed that the Midas corruption case in the energy sector would expand and that new suspects would emerge.
On 10 November, NABU announced that it had uncovered a large corruption scheme in the energy sector and released audio recordings of conversations between involved individuals. Before that, Ukrainska Pravda sources reported that NABU had searched the homes of Timur Mindich and then–Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko. Sources also stated that Mindich left Ukraine hours before the searches took place.
