Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the role of workers in Pakistan’s development in his message.

Emphasizing the contributions of the workforce, Sharif said: “On this Labor Day, I join the nation in honoring every member of our workforce, both at home and abroad, who carries the burden of our shared future.”

Referring to the dedication of workers, Sharif said: “Their dedication, perseverance and quiet sacrifice build our homes, strengthen our industry, sustain our economy and carry Pakistan forward - from sunrise, under the scorching midday sun and through the long hours when the nation sleeps.”

Addressing the government’s vision for working life, Prime Minister Sharif stated: “I assure you that our government is determined to uphold the dignity of every Pakistani worker - by creating more and better jobs, strengthening labor protections and expanding pathways to opportunity.”

Sharif said they would work for a fairer Pakistan: “By placing you at the center of our national agenda, we will build a stronger, fairer and more hopeful Pakistan for every citizen. Inshallah.”
