Spajic highlights EU membership and cooperation with Czechia
Davos, January 20 (Hibya) – Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said that Czechia provides strong political and expert support for Montenegro’s European Union (EU) accession process.
Prime Minister Spajic stated that during his meeting with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis in Davos, held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, it was noted that the EU enlargement process has now reached a “visible and measurable” stage. He emphasized that this process is important for strengthening Europe’s stability and unity.
He added that the meeting also addressed the development of economic cooperation between Montenegro and Czechia, highlighting cooperation potential particularly in transport, tourism, energy security and defense.
Spajic expressed his satisfaction with the official invitation to visit Prague and thanked the Czech side.
