Sybiha met with European Commission Vice-President Kallas
Kyiv, 21 January (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha stated that a close and active dialogue is being maintained with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, to ensure maximum support for Ukraine.
Noting that the meeting focused on energy and security issues, Sybiha said: “We coordinated joint steps to meet the urgent needs of Ukraine’s energy system and local communities in order to restore electricity, heating, and water supplies for Ukrainians.”
Sybiha emphasized that special attention was given to peace efforts and Europe’s role in achieving a just and lasting peace, adding that other contacts at various levels and joint work within international organizations were also discussed.
