Sybiha expressed his pleasure at meeting his counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot, within the framework of President Zelensky’s visit to France and his talks with President Emmanuel Macron.

He stated that they held a meaningful and important discussion on peace efforts, the Coalition of Volunteers, and Ukraine–France defence cooperation.

“We coordinated steps on European matters, including the effective use of the SAFE mechanism to develop joint projects with Ukraine, additional contributions to NATO’s PURL initiative, and the decision to fully utilise frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.”

Sybiha said he was grateful for France’s exceptional support and leadership.
