Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha responded to Russia’s accusations that Ukraine carried out an attack on Putin’s residence.

Sybiha said: “Almost a full day has passed and Russia has still not provided, and will not provide, any credible evidence of the alleged Ukrainian attack on Putin’s residence, because no such attack took place.”

He expressed discomfort over the fact that some countries issued statements of concern regarding an attack that never happened, while previously remaining silent when a Russian missile struck a government building in Ukraine.

Noting that Russia systematically uses disinformation as a method, Sybiha said: “Russia has a long history of making false claims. Such reactions to Russia’s unfounded and manipulative allegations serve Russian propaganda and encourage Moscow to commit further atrocities and lies.”

Sybiha called on all states not to give credence to unverified claims.
