Sybiha: Ukraine maintains its commitment to transatlantic security
Kyiv, February 17 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with NATO Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Boris Ruge.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with NATO Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Boris Ruge.
Informing Ruge about the latest developments in the peace process, including the recent negotiations in Abu Dhabi and today’s meetings in Geneva, Sybiha said: “I expressed my gratitude for NATO’s active engagement and assistance under the PURL initiative. I underlined the importance of strengthening this initiative next year.”
Emphasizing that Ukraine maintains its commitment to shared transatlantic security, Sybiha stated:
“Our battlefield experience and real-time feedback from the front lines provide valuable contributions to collective defense. At the same time, we must ensure technological parity with Russia, expand our production capacity, and develop critical defense technologies.”
Sybiha also noted that the upcoming talks, the deepening of Ukraine–NATO coordination, and ongoing efforts to strengthen international pressure on Russia were discussed.
